Urban Outfitters are getting worried about their lawsuit

Looks like Urban Outfitters are worried.

On Wednesday the company sought a limit on the damages that it could be asked to pay the Navajo nation after insensitive products in 2011.

The company made some insensitive references to the Navajo nation and used prints on their underwear. Although they quickly responded by withdrawing the products in 2011, a lawsuit was filed in 2012 that looks like UO could be left paying out millions.

Wonder if the Irish could sue over those Irish yoga T-shirts? Want a reminder? look here

The limit application works as such. UO have been using the Navajo print/description since 2008 selling a grand total of 508,999 items of that description. The Navajo lawsuit was filed in 2012 and the company want to limit the application of repayment to just from 2012 instead of 2008.

Everyone seems to have forgotten those Jewish T-shirts as well which I posted a few years ago. Have a look here.
