Oh boy! Beliebers could get their chance to literally own a piece of their beloved and worshipped Justin Bieber. The singer is thinking of auctioning off his shorn dreadlocks for charity
This is totally crazy! While Justin Bieber, 22, may have shaved off his bleach blond dreadlocks in favor of his new buzzcut, his hairdresser is still in possession of the precious follicles. Not only that, they could end up in the hands of one very lucky — or rich — Belieber because they might be sold in a charity fundraiser! Get those credit cards ready to go, because we've got all the details!
Justin's longtime hairdresser Florio has opened up to Cosmopolitan about Justin's brand new short hair style that he debuted just after playing a show in Washington D.C. Apr. 30. "It's always shocking to come from long hair to short hair, right? But as soon as he walked into the hallway from the dressing room, everyone was going off about how cool it looked, because no one had ever seen him like that except for when he was a little kid. He's into it too. We still have the dreads though, now we might try to slang them for a charity." OMG, we can't imagine how high the bidding would go for fans wanting to get to have Justin's dreads as their very own.
As for what style we can expect next from the Biebs, "Right now he's into the short 'do, but it could be anything. It's always so random and never planned." Talk about snap decisions, he got sick of his dreads after wearing them for about a month as they were starting to get knotted and gross. Before his D.C. show Justin said it was time for a change.
"So after that show, I cut out all of the dreads using scissors," Florido said, "and then I used a buzzer to shave it all down." But hey, those dreads didn't go in the trash and the guys still have them, so fingers crossed they put them up for auction! Stream Justin's music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.

Florido also explained why the singer got the ratty looking dreads in the first place. "He was snowboarding and saw someone with dreads and wanted them," he explained about the impulsive singer. "He wore them for maybe a month and then wanted to change-up his look. Not to mention his hair was bleached and was already fragile, plus it was knotted and teased from the dreads. We decided to just start fresh and shave it all off." Good idea guys, he looks WAY better now!
