Britney Spears bares plenty of cleavage in a plunging dress as she is named Style Icon at the Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears flashed a big smile, lots of leg and plenty of cleavage as she accepted her Style Icon trophy at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night.The 33-year-old picked up what is her eighth surfboard in a daring-cut dress that almost showed her navel. The lacy white frock trailed to her calves at the back and was cut all the way to her thighs from the front.

The bodice meanwhile was completely divided right down to he midriff for an extremely racy look.

Britney's long blonde hair was tipped with blue and purple dye, while she finished off her outfit with a pair of silver heels.

Accompanying the Pretty Girls hitmaker were her two children Sean Preston, nine, and Jayden James, eight along with her 38-year-old older brother Bryan and his daughter Lexie.On the night Britney was also up for Choice Song: Female artist along with Iggy Azalea for their duet, Pretty Girls, and Best Collaboration for the same song.The song was actually poorly received, charting at a disappointing 29 for such a highly hyped tune.

After it flopped, the two Pretty Girls went at it over whose fault the failure was.

'its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured…' 25-year-old Azalea subsequently tweeted during a Q&A in a apparent stab at Britney's lack of interest.

Britney appeared to respond when she tweeted. 'Can't wait to get back to Vegas - So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to…'interpreted to be a swipe at the Australian rapper who had just cancelled her North American tour for 'a break'.
